We do not use pumps in any of our coffee brewers. Instead, we use natural percolation to flow the heated water through the brewer and over the coffee grounds. Because there are no pumps in our machines, there will never be a forceful or uniform spray from the outlet arm. Instead, water will pulse out over the top of the coffee grounds.
If the water output seems slower than usual, the brewer may be clogged with mineral deposits and need to be descaled. Read our articles on what descaling is and how to descale for more information, or reference your instruction manual.
