The hotplate is staying on after the brewing is complete.

It is normal for the hotplate to remain on after brewing to keep the coffee warm.

On glass-carafe models equipped with automatic shutoff, the hotplate will automatically turn off after 100 minutes. You can also turn the brewer off manually at any time.

Some older models do not have an automatic shutoff and must be turned off manually.

If your brewer is equipped with automatic shutoff but the hotplate remains on for more than 120 minutes, turn off and unplug the brewer. Then submit our Contact Us form so our Customer Support team can assist you.
