Do high altitudes affect the coffee brewing process?

Water boils at a lower temperature at higher elevations, but the brewing process remains the same. It’s the boiling action, not a set temperature, that causes the water to rise through the Moccamaster. No matter your elevation, by the time the water reaches the grounds, it will be “just off the boil” and should still be brewing in the range for ideal extraction.
