What is the warranty on my Moccamaster brewer?

Moccamaster USA warrants its coffee brewer, excluding carafes and replaceable parts to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty periods

• New brewers: Five years from the original purchase date
• Refurbished brewers: One year from the purchase date

Proof of purchase is required for warranty service.

What happens if my brewer qualifies for warranty service?

Moccamaster USA will inspect the brewer to determine whether the issue is covered under warranty. If the brewer is found to have a covered defect, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

If a replacement brewer is provided, it will assume the remaining warranty period of the original brewer.

What is not covered?

The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

• Misuse or negligent handling
• Failure to descale or properly maintain the brewer
• Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions
• Modification or alteration of the brewer
• Repairs performed by anyone other than Moccamaster USA or an authorized service center
• Carafes or replaceable parts

Having the brewer serviced by an unauthorized repair provider may void the warranty.

How do I request warranty service?

If the brewer was purchased within the past 30 days, please contact the original retailer first regarding a return or exchange.

After the first 30 days, submit our repair request form.

Please have the following information ready:

• Brewer model
• Serial or production number
• Complete return shipping address
• Original sales receipt or invoice

Additional warranty terms

Any liability is expressly limited to an amount equal to the purchase price paid. Claims for special, incidental, or consequential damages are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Unless otherwise specified, Moccamaster USA makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, regarding the merchantability or fitness of a product for a particular purpose. Moccamaster USA disclaims warranties and conditions not stated in this limited warranty and is not liable for claims made by a third party or made by a buyer or user on behalf of a third party.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state. Some states do not allow limitations or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
