What type of filter should I use in my Moccamaster?

For the best results, we recommend using Moccamaster oxygen-whitened paper filters. These filters help produce clean, balanced coffee without adding unwanted flavor.

Brown unbleached paper filters may impart a paper-like taste. Reusable metal or mesh filters allow more coffee oils into the brewed coffee and may become clogged if not cleaned thoroughly, which can contribute to slow flow or an overflowing brew basket.
